Lead Millwright/Supervisor – job post
AEL is currently looking for an experienced Journeyperson Millwright with a minimum of ten years experience to lead our team of Millwrights, Apprentices and Service Technicians.
This job is ideally suited for an individual who enjoys working for a smaller sized company, is hands on and passionate about mentoring apprentices and building a strong team environment.
This role will entail both working on jobs sites as well as overseeing the crew.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of our team, while maintaining our safety priorities. You will be working closely with AEL’s management, assisting in job planning and scheduling, budgeting, and strategic planning.
This role, plays a key part in ensuring our work environment and culture aligns with our corporate values. The ideal candidate will champion these values.
You will be one of the points of contact for our customers and will assist in quoting and providing solutions to our customers.
This job involves working at heights and in confined spaces. Previous experience in these areas is an asset. There is also a limited amount of travel requirement within Atlantic Canada.
A satisfactory criminal background and drivers abstract are a requirement for this position.
